WARNING! This product can be harmful. Exercise caution and read the extra details below.
Lemongrass is not known to be harmful or toxic for dogs and does have nutritional and cleansing properties. In fact dogs will often naturally eat grasses, including lemon grass (if they are available in their surrounding) to remedy an upset stomach. Occasionally, dogs will eat grass very rapidly in an attempt to naturally induce vomiting in order to rid them of whatever is causing their digestive disease. While lemongrass is safe for consumption, we do not recommend feeding as part of a regular diet.
The information above is to be used as a guide only. Human food products should not replace a specialised diet for dogs. If your dog ever displays unusual symptoms after eating any food product you should seek advice immediately from a professional vet.
